Patricia Lee Hagberg Oct. 29, 1940 ~ Aug. 22, 2010 Resident of Pleasanton Patricia "Pat" passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Valley Care Medical Center. Pat was born in Upland, California on October 29, 1940 to Rollin and Mary Lemon. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends. Pat was an outgoing and adventurous child. She joined the Navy Waves when she graduated from high school, and soon thereafter married the love of her life, Edward W. Hagberg. She started babysitting her kids and their friends and that quickly grew into a home business of watching the neighborhood kids after school. When her kids grew up, she went on to work for General Electric as a Security Supervisor and retired in 2006 to begin the happiest time of her life. She spent every waking moment with her four grandchildren. Some of the best times of her life were when she was playing with her dogs or watching her grandchildren play soccer, baseball or football. She had no problem expressing her opinion, especially to the umpires when they made a questionable call or when she felt her grandchild wasn't being treated fairly. Pat, always an adrenaline junkie, consistently took on the challenges to do things that her grandchildren or friends attempted to do like riding roller coasters, water slides, jet skis, bungee jumping, and zip lines. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time in Las Vegas, Tahoe, and Southern CA. During her spare time, she enjoyed playing computer games and winning at her computer slot machine. She also enjoyed making and designing leather belts, watch-bands, and wristbands for her kids and their friends. She touched the lives of many people and was the glue that held her family together. Constantly energetic to support her family, she attended many functions for her children and grandchildren bringing excitement and joy to her entire family. When her daughters were young, she proudly managed their softball games alongside her husband, "Coach" Ed, and enjoyed scorekeeping and leading cheers for the team. Her kindness and loving spirit will be painfully missed by her family and friends. Pat is survived by her husband Ed; daughters Robin Martin and Teri Kolon; son Eddie Hagberg; grandchildren Joseph, Nicholas, Dylan, and Haley; sister Helen and brother-in-law Hal Edmon; and her many loving relatives and dear friends. She is preceded by her parents Rollin and Mary Lemon.
